Releasing the Old Script
You’ve spent the week noticing your thoughts.
Questioning their truth.
Listening to your body.
Now, it’s time to release what no longer serves.
We all carry inherited beliefs, outdated identities, and protective stories that once helped us survive—but now, they weigh us down. These scripts run quietly in the background of our lives, shaping how we show up, what we tolerate, and what we believe we’re allowed to receive.
✨ Today’s Practice: Let something go.
Pause and reflect: What is one belief, thought, or story that you’re ready to release? It might be something like: – “If I ask for help, I’m weak.” – “I have to earn love by overgiving.” – “I’m too much.” – “Nothing ever works out for me.”
Write it down. Name the belief clearly and without judgment. Let it live outside your body for a moment—on the page or in your voice.
Create a release ritual: Choose one: – Say it out loud, then declare: “I release this. It is not mine anymore.” – Burn or tear up the written belief (safely). – Close your eyes, visualize the belief leaving your body with each exhale. – Place a hand on your heart and say: “I’m allowed to choose differently now.”
This isn’t about erasing your past. It’s about reclaiming your power to decide what still gets to live in your inner world.
💬 Optional reflection:
What belief did you let go of today?
What truth is starting to take its place?
Letting go doesn’t mean forgetting. It means freeing yourself from the weight of what you no longer need to carry.
