Let the Thought Be a Thought

A thought is just a thought—until we attach a meaning or predict an outcome.

That’s when the spiral begins.


We take a passing moment—

“I haven’t heard back from them…”

And suddenly we’re carrying stories like:

“I must’ve done something wrong.”

“They don’t value me.”

“I’m always overlooked.”


But the thought itself isn’t the problem.

It’s the meaning we attach to it.

It’s the outcome we start scripting in our heads.


✨ Today’s Practice:

When a thought arises, pause.

Ask yourself:

– “Am I attaching meaning to this?”

– “Am I assuming I know how this will end?”

Then take a breath, and say:

“This is just a thought. I don’t need to follow it.”


Let the thought pass like a cloud. No gripping. No analyzing.

Just presence.
