I help people
improve their lives

by illuminating goals, identifying obstacles, and developing strategies to overcome them.

Gone are the days of clearing half of a day on your schedule to receive coaching or counseling.  Pick up the phone or click a zoom link from anywhere to have an instant person in your corner. Whether you are across the world or my next door neighbor, I am available at the push of a button.

I call my style of coaching Holistic Coaching because much like Holistic Medicine my coaching involves all aspects of you - mind, body, and soul.

Through coaching, I will help you create a roadmap to achieve your desires.  I believe there are many helpful modalities such as nutrition, movement, mindfulness practice, breathing techniques, energy medicine, and many more.  In my journey I have utilized many of them to manage stress, overcome anxiety and navigate challenges.

Together we can unlock the doors where the answers within you lie. Because the answers truly are within you.

My Story

I am Heather Headley.

I grew up in a small town in Missouri and after high school I attended Southwest Missouri State University.  I knew at that point I wanted to help people, but was unsure what that would look like. I began by majoring in psychology, but three terms later had lost my steam education wise and decided to follow my dream at the time which was to be a raft guide.  I was hired by the Nantahala Outdoor Center in North Carolina and had the time of my life.

I took the scenic route growing up. I met amazing people, saw this beautiful country, and had some remarkable experiences. I also endured very challenging times, chose unhealthy relationships,  and encountered very deep loss.  I coped with some of it by chasing fun and adventure and looked to the bottom of a bottle to numb other parts.  Through it all, I never strayed far away from lending a listening ear and doing my best to improve the lives of those around me.

Eventually, I fell in love with my husband and the Pacific Northwest and settled in Southern Oregon.  I attended Oregon Health & Science University where I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing with a minor in Psychology.  Nursing has allowed me to touch many lives, but I increasingly became disheartened with our healthcare system, realizing that it was not set up to prevent illness and to help people but instead to keep them sick and on medications.

After many years of gravitating toward enhancing the lives of others, and having been on a journey of personal development my entire adult life, coaching seemed like the next natural progression.  This was solidified by the profound impact that my life coach has had on my life.

Health coaching was an obvious choice for me because of my interest in health and wellness and years of nursing experience. But, life coaching was what I was most passionate about.   Fortunately, I found a program at the Health Coach Institute that offered Dual International Coaching Federation Accredited Certifications in both Life Coaching and Health Coaching.

As a Life Coach and Health Coach I help people improve their lives through sharing my life experience, education, and passion. It is a dream come true for me and I am humbled and honored to be able to do so.  Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and I look forward to working with you.
